I’d like to tell you about our chorus club of Kijukai. There are about twenty members. It consists of a lot of ladies and a few gentlemen. We gather twice a month and practice singing for one hour and a half.
Our teacher is a young professional singer and teaches us eagerly and politely. His lessons are interesting but to tell the truth we are not good singers. We cannot read a sheet of music.
First we always do vocal excercise for thirty minutes and after a short break we sing children’s songs, folk songs and favorite old melodies.
Though we are not ambitious, our club is full of kindness, friendship and cheerfulness.
